Image Control #

The Image Control settings allow you to manage how images behave when Dark Mode is enabled. You can adjust brightness, apply grayscale, darken backgrounds, invert colors, or even replace images specifically for Dark Mode.

Brightness & Grayscale #

1. Low Brightness Images
   Enable this option to automatically adjust image brightness in dark mode.
2. Brightness Level
   Use the slider (0–100%) to set the brightness intensity for images.
3. Exclude Images from Brightness
   Enter image URLs (comma-separated or one per line) to exclude specific images from brightness adjustments.
4. Grayscale Images
   Enable this option to apply a grayscale effect to images in dark mode.
5. Grayscale Level
   Use the slider (0–100%) to set the grayscale intensity.
6. Exclude Images from Grayscale
   Enter image URLs to prevent grayscale from being applied.

Backgrounds & SVGs #

7. Darken Background Images
   Enable this option to darken background images in dark mode.
8. Darken Level
   Use the slider (0–100%) to set how much background images are darkened.
9. Invert Inline SVGs
   Automatically invert all inline SVG graphics for dark mode compatibility.

Targeted Inversion & Replacement #

10. Invert Specific Images
    Enable this option to invert only specific images.
11. Image URLs for Inversion
    Enter the image src, srcset, or CSS background image URLs to be inverted in dark mode.
12. Replace Images
    Replace normal mode images with alternate versions for dark mode.

• Normal Mode: Select or enter the default image URL.
• Dark Mode: Select or enter the replacement image URL.

Video Control #

The Video Control settings allow you to adjust how videos behave when Dark Mode is active. You can control brightness, apply grayscale effects, or replace videos entirely for Dark Mode.

1. Low Brightness Videos: Toggle this option to automatically reduce video brightness in Dark Mode.
2. Brightness Level: Use the slider (0–100%) to set how much brightness should be applied.
3. Grayscale Videos: Enable this option to apply a grayscale effect to all videos in Dark Mode.
4. Grayscale Level: Use the slider (0–100%) to set grayscale intensity for videos.
5. Replace Videos: Replace a video used in Normal Mode with a different one for Dark Mode.
   • Add the Normal Mode video.
   • Add the Dark Mode replacement video.
   • When Dark Mode is enabled, the replacement video will be shown.
